1. Overview

lovebeing is a peer-to-peer marketplace for handmade upcycled clothing. By using lovebeing.world or lovebeing.shop ("the Platform"), you agree to these terms.

2. How It Works

Sellers list one-of-a-kind upcycled garments. Buyers pay sellers directly using the seller's chosen payment methods (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or crypto). lovebeing does not process or hold payments.

3. The Handshake™ System

Ownership transfers use our split-key verification system. When you purchase an item, you receive Key-B. The seller includes Key-A in the shipped package. Both keys must be entered to complete the ownership transfer.

4. No Middleman

lovebeing takes no commission or fees on sales. Payments go directly from buyer to seller. We provide the platform and the Handshake™ verification system — that's it.

5. User Accounts

You must create an account to buy or sell. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and Handshake keys secure. We are not responsible for lost keys.

6. Disputes

Either party can file a dispute through the order page. After 5 failed Handshake verification attempts, the order is automatically frozen and flagged for review. We will work with both parties to resolve disputes, but because payments are peer-to-peer, lovebeing cannot issue refunds.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Listing items you do not own
• Misrepresenting item condition, materials, or sizing
• Attempting to manipulate the Handshake verification system
• Harassment or abusive behavior toward other users

8. Intellectual Property

lovebeing, the lovebeing logo, and Handshake™ are trademarks of lovebeing. Each upcycled work remains the intellectual and physical property of its current verified owner.

9. Limitation of Liability

lovebeing provides the platform "as is." We are not liable for lost packages, failed payments, or disputes between buyers and sellers. Use the Platform at your own risk.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
